About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower everyone to better understand and communicate their health and care needs, and to be able to participate in digital health more effectively.
Our service is based on our original research, innovative technology, and new and emerging understandings of our health and experiences.

We are reinventing healthcare from the patient upwards.

We understand the power of design, technology and people's lived experience.

We believe that healthcare is better when everyone's invited.

Who are we?

Lucy, the founder of Health Heard, is a service designer, technologist, and researcher passionate about human diversity, climate change, and problem-solving through design.

Her journey into healthcare innovation began with uncovering long-hidden chronic health issues in her family. Facing many barriers to diagnosis and treatment, she became driven to create better services and approaches that ensure everyone gets the healthcare they need.
